MEMBERS HANDBOOK

At Pac Gym, we do things differently. It doesn’t matter what shape or size you are because we’ve raised the bar for functional training with unique programs that all deliver an amazing workout. We established in 2013 with a simple goal: help improve the health fitness of the Porirua community. At the foundation of any good gym is a base of awesome members, and we can say we have some of the best.
 
It’s easy to sign up for a gym, pay for a membership, wear all the gear; but most will fail without one important aspect: coaches. Our coaching staff, who are all athletes, love passing on their knowledge and skill, and are here to guide you on your fitness journey.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

 

OPEN GYM ACCESS

​

Open Gym Access is a perk of our Unlimited Memberships only, available upon email request. You are allowed access to the facility between 5am and 10pm, 7 days a week.

 

Open Gym can be revoked at any time without warning or notice if you violate the rules and policies, or are a danger to yourself or others. 

​

  • If you are alone at the gym, please lock the door behind you. Those who have access to Open Gym will have a door code.

  • Know where our first aid kit is located in the front desk. 

  • Train safely when on your own.

  • Do not drop the following items:

    • Empty barbells

    • Any plates under 15kg

    • Any kettlebells

    • Any dumbbells

  • Guests that are not members of Pac Gym or have not added Open Gym Access to their membership are not to participate in Open Gym. 

  • Please clean up and place equipment away in the proper storage space.

  • Please mop all chalk up off floors and walls.

  • If anything breaks, please email us to notify our Management team.
